I got downstairs today and it was rainy and windy. I had a workout slated of 4 x 1.5 miles at 5:15 pace. Initially, I wasn't going to run the workout due to the weather but as I hit campus things started to clear up. I told myself not to punk out and just hit the track to improve the fitness. I toed the line and was off at a blistering 800m split of 2:36 and change. The legs and lungs were not feeling great and I ended up punking out. I got in some easy miles and realized that the legs were not feeling fantastic either. The quads are a bit sore, but mostly I'm a wuss.
