It's the final day of The Running Event and we had to be up early in order to get in a run and make it to the expo by 8 AM. Meagan and I ran around Town Lake completing two loops at a leisurely pace. There were lots of other industry folks out putting in time on the feet. I spotted Justin Wager who is the footwear buyer at Fleet Feet Syracuse and Dan Kittaka who works at Fleet Feet Chicago.
My legs weren't feeling too beat up after the 5k yesterday. There was a bit a of adding on around the hotel where we saw a homeless woman trying to chat with Angela Lindbo who works for W.L. Gore & Associates. There certainly are some interesting people (weirdos) in Austin.
