Owen's lazy ass wasn't interested in running with me this morning because he took a shot of Jack last night. Fun times all around. I was out the door after the young DC workforce was out of the house and off to their j-o-b-s. I laced up the boots and headed off in the direction of the National Zoo. I was hoping to see some animals other than squirrels and birds. No such luck. Owen said that sometimes you can see the animals, but usually it's too early and they aren't out yet. However, if you get lucky sometimes there is a donkey moping around. I didn't even get to see that ass.

I made a short loop and found my way back to the house so that I could shower, pack up and drive 8 hours back to Charlotte.
