I met up with some peeps from Queens out at the Boyce parking lot for a run. Mike Crouch is back to near top form after his stellar 13:53 5k out at Stanford's Payton Jordan Invitational. He and I put in 8 miles together at a leisurely pace. It's good seeing his confidence back up. He will surely be one of the favorites in a few weeks when he toes the line at DII Nationals here in Charlotte. If it comes down to the final 1k, my money is on Crouch as he doesn't often lose to other DII runners.
