Map & Data

This morning was going to be a run focused on enjoying the movements of running than getting in a good aerobic effort. Today was the first time the morning group met to run this spring on Saturdays from OK Runner. I wasn't expecting there to be too many people so I was surprised to see that 25-30 people showed up. There were all levels of runners in attendance but I was able to run with Carrot Top and Adam Cohen for about 12 miles on the flats. I left my apartment before sunrise to make it over to the shop before 7:30 which gave me a little over 3.5 miles, then I ran with the group and followed that up with a run back to my pad. I would have gone 20 had I known Gus was going to take his sweet ass time showering and eating breakfast. I thought I was going to be pressed in my own shower/change department. That clearly wasn't the case as I had a few moments to hit the intertubes at Winan's before heading off. My legs felt good and the pace was really comfortable today. The spirits are high and I'm looking to put forth another strong run tomorrow to cap off the week.
